Our mission

Our mission is to develop a facility that provides an unrivalled footballing environment, giving players of all ages and abilities the platform to reach their potential on and off the pitch.

Our plans

Done Deal
Full planning permission is granted and funding is secured, giving the green light for full construction of the Star Meadow Sports Complex.
Phase One • Complete
• Some existing buildings and vegetation removed to create space
• A FIFA-graded artificial surface is installed, replacing the main grass pitch
• New dugouts installed, situated on the north side of the new pitch
• Hard standing for spectators constructed at the far end of the facility
• Spectator turnstiles moved to the changing room - side of the facility
• General improvements made to the spectator facilities and food and drink amenities
Phase Two
• A new building containing two SEFA College classrooms and office space will be installed
• A new building for containing the SEFA office will be installed
• The side room in the bar building will be renovated into a boardroom
• The layout of the existing changing room building will be improved, with new facilities added and cosmetic improvements being made
• The car park will be expanded, with dedicated entry and exit points created

Our partners

The Star Meadow Sports Complex is the home of Soccer Elite FA.

The facility hosts SEFA College, which provides 16-19-year-olds with full time BTEC, NCFE and FA courses alongside daily football training and weekly matches.

All of SEFA’s Medway academy sessions and soccer schools also run at the venue.

Hollands & Blair are a massive part of what we are looking to achieve at the new Star Meadow, and we are looking forward to building upon our positive partnership with the football club.

The new artificial main pitch and existing artificial mini pitch give Blair’s teams a base to play and train from.
